Booklet and Catalog Envelopes
Booklet and Catalog envelopes come in many different sizes and are often used to carry larger or heavier materials. What is the difference between a booklet envelope and a catalog envelope? A booklet envelope has a flap that opens on the long side while a catalog envelope has a flap that opens on the short side.
Booklet envelopes
Booklet envelopes, also known as open side envelopes, are the go to choice for larger mailings as they are designed to work with machine inserters.
Catalog envelopes
Catalog envelopes, also known as open end envelopes, feature a center seam construction which gives it a little more strength and is ideal for larger or heavier marketing pieces like magazines and folders.
Both booklets and catalog envelopes come with traditional gum seal but also have peel and seal self-seal options.
